Biography:

A native of southern California, Megan is a graduate of UCLA, where she earned a bachelor's degree in history and education. After graduation, she earned a master's in teaching secondary social studies at Teachers College, Columbia University. During her time in New York City, Megan also worked as a student teacher at the Beacon School and the Nightingale-Bamford School. Before joining Taft in 2010, Megan taught U.S. History at the Indian Mountain School, where she also coached softball and basketball and worked in the dormitory. In addition to teaching history at Taft, Megan has served in various roles, including coaching an undefeated New England Championship softball team and serving as the co-chair of the summer reading committee. Megan currently teaches both U.S. and AP U.S. History, and she serves as the section head for U.S. History. She lives in Middlebury with her husband, Michael, and their two sons.
