been received by an account over which The Taft School has control or an account
that you have established specifically for charitable purposes. The Taft
School's Internal Revenue Service identification number is 06-0646921.
In accordance with IRS rules, as the recipient (donee) of your generous stock
gift, we are prohibited from stating a dollar value in our acknowledgement
unless we are able to site an independent source. If this information is
provided to us by your broker, we can reference them as the source of valuation
and include the mean market value for your contribution.
Many corporations offer matching gift programs to their employees and their families. Matching gift support often doubles or triples an individual's gift, and all matching support is credited to you. To see if your employer matches charitable gifts, please click here. It is best, however, to ask your employer since not all participating companies are included in the list.
