Securities

OR, your broker or banker may electronically transfer your securities to The Taft School gift account held at Mellon Securities Trust Company. You should give your broker or banker the following instructions to facilitate the transfer - please also fax your instructions to Taft 860-945-7756 so that we may better track your gift to the School

In accordance with IRS rules, as the recipient (donee) of your generous stock gift, we are prohibited from stating a dollar value in our acknowledgement unless we are able to site an independent source. If this information is provided to us by your broker, we can reference them as the source of valuation and include the mean market value for your contribution.
