Biography:

Andrew recently completed his Master of Arts in private school leadership from the Klingenstein Center Teachers College at Columbia University. His teaching career includes graduate studies work at the Dalton School in New York City, and a faculty post at Montclair Kimberley Academy (MKA) in New Jersey. During his time at MKA, Andrew taught history, ethics, and government; advised the “Shades of Color Club”; organized the Black History Month events; and, served as a house coordinator. Andrew has also volunteered for the Jumpstart Program, an organization that teaches language and literacy skills to preschoolers.

Originally from California, Andrew graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in government, with a minor in moral and political philosophy. Andrew also and played Division I baseball at Harvard.

At Taft, Andrew will be the dean of multicultural education; teach AP US History and AP US Government; work as an adjunct on CPT 4; and will coach football and baseball. He will live off campus on Warren Way.
