Tennis - Girls' JV

Overview

Overview

The girls' junior varsity tennis team at Taft is a fun competitive spring sport. A player would expect to be on the courts six times each week, four practices and two matches. The season focuses on all of the basic strokes, court positioning, competitive play, and conditioning. The team usually carries 12 girls and during matches will play a format that includes four singles and three doubles teams. Players will play either singles or doubles but not both. Most years a few JV players work their way up to the varsity team.
