Lillian began her teaching career in Woodbury, Connecticut, as a middle school English and science teacher. She also taught fifth grade for several years. In 1986, after receiving a master’s degree in library science, she joined the Taft faculty as a public services librarian. Lillian enjoys her summers on Lake Keuka in western New York, where she and her husband waterski, sail, kayak and generally practice for retirement. Most recently she has taken up ice hockey and plays on a women’s team. She is currently the assistant director of the library. Lillian and her husband, Scott, live in Thomaston. They have two children, Charlie ‘02 and Wesley ‘09.
