A native of Bronxville, New York, Patti graduated from St. Lawrence University with a degree in art history. She went on to earn a master’s in library science from Simmons College Graduate School of Library Science, returning to her hometown to serve as reference/young adult librarian at the Bronxville Public Library before moving to Connecticut with her family in 1987. Patti began work at the Taft School Library in 1993, and received her faculty appointment in 2008. An avid reader, music fan, and lover of animals and the great outdoors, Patti has two grown children: Sarah, a personal trainer and cross country coach in the Boston area, and Tim, founder of West River Guitars, a luthiery in Brookline VT.
