Gil joined the Taft administration in July 2005 as business manager. He previously served for 11 years at Wesleyan University as director of financial services. Prior to Wesleyan, Gil spent 20 years in the for-profit sector in a variety of financial and operating roles. He received an undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and an M.B.A. degree in finance from Sacred Heart University.
