- Jennifer returned to the faculty in 2010, after a seven-year leave to raise her and husband Jack's three boys. She graduated from Roland Park Country School in Baltimore, and was, in 2007, voted into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame. After Roland Park, she earned her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin, where she majored in math and minored in economics. While there, she served as a tour guide, calculus tutor, and camp counselor; additionally, she played varsity field hockey and squash and captained each of those teams for two years; and she even played a year of varsity lacrosse. On the field hockey field, she earned National All-American honors in 1992. During the summer prior to her senior year in college, Jennifer served as an intern in the Taft Summer School; and after graduating from Bowdoin, she returned to Taft in 1994 as a teaching fellow in math. She then, over the course of the next nine years at Taft, taught math, served as a section leader in two courses, mentored a teaching fellow, coached field hockey, squash, and lacrosse, served as assistant athletic director, and worked in a girls' and a boys' dormitory. During her time away, she tutored students in math as well as for SATs and ACTs. She has returned to teaching a full course load and now serves as the Chair of the Math Department.
