During two of his college summers, he worked at Tabor Academy’s summer school as a soccer and lacrosse coach and dorm master. After graduating from Colby, he worked at The Gunnery, where he taught Spanish, headed a boys’ dormitory, and served as the head coach of the boys’ varsity soccer and wrestling teams and the JV boys’ lacrosse team. After two years at The Gunnery, he studied abroad this past year in Madrid through Middlebury College, where he earned a master’s in Spanish. At Taft, Luis teaches Spanish, coaches girls’ varsity soccer and boys’ JV lacrosse, and lives on CPT 3.
