Upon graduating from Holderness School, where he was a high-honors student for four years and the varsity baseball captain his senior year, Will attended Bates College, where he majored in economics, minored in Spanish and earned Phi Beta Kappa honors while graduating magna cum laude. In college he also played rugby football, was elected match secretary and social coordinator, produced a weekly radio show, and spent a semester studying abroad at Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. After Bates, he worked as an account executive and group sales representative for the Colorado Rapids, Anschutz Entertainment Group, in Denver. In 2003, he returned to his alma mater, Holderness, where he taught math, lived in a dorm and coached baseball and snowboarding. Then, with a continued interest in business, he enrolled at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Upon earning an M.B.A., he worked for Johnson & Johnson Consumer Group, where he was an associate product director. After a few years, he missed education and returned to working in schools—this time to Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, MA, where he taught precalculus, coached baseball and came to serve as director of Middle and Upper school admissions, director of financial aid and coordinator of marketing. At Taft, Will works in admissions and serves as the assistant director of financial aid, coaches boys’ fourth soccer and JV baseball, and lives on CPT 2.
