Before joining Taft, Jim was a public school teacher in Southbury, Connecticut. At Taft, he coaches boys’ JV soccer and girls’ softball, and teaches AP environmental science to seniors and is head of the Science Department. He is a member of the National Science Teachers Association, among other organizations. Jim lives in Vogelstein with his wife, Kathleen, and their sons, Evan and Nathan.
