Although the Taft boys' team had only 12 partcipants at Saturday's NEPSTA Division I Championship Meet at Choate, four earned places in the top six, and there were several other season best performances. Shane Hardie successfully defended his NEPSTA high jumping title by placing first and also finished fifth in the 110M Hurdles in a season best time. Victory over Hotchkiss

LAKEVILLE, CT. - When Taft and Hotchkiss get together--regardless of the sport, the season or the Vegas Line--you can throw the records out. Taft came into the game with an 11-5 record, but we knew that a 5-8 Hotchkiss squad would give us their best effort, and they didn't disappoint.

Close loss in final seconds

Taft and Choate battled in a well matched game Wednesday, exchanging goals through-out the entirety of the game. Goal keeper Becky Dutton and defenders Lauren Drakeley, Gwen McGee, Eliza Dunham and Collins Grant played an excellent game with patient, focused defense stands. Becky Dutton saved countless point-blank shots.
