Coach Biography: Kevin Conroy
Head Coach, Boys' Junior Varsity Squash

As a student, Kevin played varsity squash at Choate. After college and graduate school, he coached the boys' varsity squash team for seven years at The Hill School, where he also taught Spanish, coached tennis and ran a dorm. At Taft since 2001, Kevin has coached all levels of boy’s and girl’s squash and tennis. As interest and numbers in squash have grown at Taft, Kevin developed the first thirds squash team in 2007, then co-ed, now two separate teams with full schedules. Kevin currently coaches boys' JV squash and girls' JV tennis at Taft. When he is not on the courts, he teaches Spanish, directs the Pinto Language Lab, helps out in the upper school dorms and serves as a faculty mentor. He has also served as a class dean for uppermids. For the past several summers, he has worked for the language programs at Middlebury College and recently served as the director of the Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy. On the court with his players, Kevin emphasizes conditioning, teamwork and sportsmanship.
