Coach Biography: W.T. Miller
Head Coach, Boys' Varsity Squash
WT graduated from Tufts University in 1990, where he played varsity tennis. After three years at Avon Old Farms, where he coached football, squash and tennis, he attended the University of Virginia and then moved to France, where he played A league squash for the club Squash Nantais. He came to Taft in 1996 and began coaching the girls' tennis and squash teams. These teams met with great success during this era, winning New England titles in tennis and finishing as runner-up in squash. In 2002, WT moved to Paris, where he played A league squash for the club OS Sannois. WT played competitively in Europe traveling to tournaments in Belguim, Switzerland and throughout France. Upon his return to Taft in 2006, he began coaching the boys' squash team. Since that time, the squash program has grown and met with unparalleled success. The team has been ranked #5 in the USA twice and #2 in the USA in 2011. Likewise, the team was crowned New England Champion in 2011.
