Varsity Volleyball

The Taft Volleyball program has grown leaps and bounds under the direction of Head Coach Ginger O’Shea, who came to Taft in 2001. Prior to 2001 the team had never qualified for a spot in the New England Championship Tournament. Delete Since taking the program, Coach O’Shea has guided the team to eight appearances in the post season, including five semi-final appearances and three finalist appearances. Taft is now regarded as one of the top volleyball teams in New England.  The volleyball team is also know for its dedication to promote awareness for breast cancer research. The team has raised more than $8,500, and because of the team's efforts they have received many Philantropic Achievement Awards
