Boys' Varsity Basketball vs Choate Rosemary Hall

Score/Result: 69-74 (OT) L

Tim Drakeley hit his third 3 of the game with 8 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game at 66-66 sending the Cruikshank crowd into a frenzy and forcing OT with Choate.  Unfortunately, the Rhinos could not catch a break in the extra session as foul trouble proved costly and Choate capitalized earning the 74-69 victory.  As much as the loss stung, the Rhinos showed great courage coming from behind in the final minutes and should be proud of their resilience.  Quinton Dale and Bulolo Jonga battled valiantly against Choate's talented and big front court throughout the game.  Joey Flannery led the team with 24 points and Kade Kager added 14.  These two also combined to go 12-12 from the FT line.

Taft heads into exam with a 1-1 record and looks forward to facing Brunswick for the very first time at the Seacoast Classic at Exeter on December 14th.
