On Senior Day, Taft closed out the 2012-13 regular season with a 72-61 victory over Westminster in front of a standing room only crowd in Cruikshank.  In completing an 18-4 season, the Rhinos won their final eight games and 16 of their last 18.  The team will await word on Sunday about their seeding in the New England Class A tournament that will begin on Wednesday.

Taft led this game wire to wire.  Kris Hargraves (30 points) kept Westminster close in the first half, but Taft entered the break with 36-28 advantage.  A 13-2 run in the second half opened up the lead to as many as 23 points and secured the Rhinos with a decisive victory.  Joey Flannery paced Taft with 20 points, Quinton Dale recorded a double-double with 18 and 11, and Kade Kager rounded out the double digit scorers with 16.  This trio was rewarded with great passes from Shawn Strickland who recorded 9 assists.
