Girls' Varsity Basketball vs Westminster School

Score/Result: 51-33 W

Wednesday, February 06, 2013
    • After looking a little sluggish in the first sixteen minutes of play, the visiting Rhinos picked up the defensive intensity, slowly grew a six-point halftime lead into a double-digit advantage, and the home team never seriously threatened down the stretch. Chelsea Robinson dominated play inside for a double double: 16 points and ten rebounds. Rylie Mainville also leveraged her height advantage over the opponents, scoring 8 and gathering eight boards. Morgan Manz netted 7 and pulled down nine, Dominique Moise scored all of her 8 points after halftime, and Maggie O'Neil had 3 points, three assists and four caroms. Lauren Drakeley (3 points), Madison Haskins (4 points, four boards), and Taylor Rado (a steal and a bucket) played well off the bench.

  • With the victory, the Big Red moves to .500 for the first time since early December, and hopes to build on its five game winning streak this Saturday in Lakeville against Hotchkiss.
