Junior Varsity Football vs Trinity-Pawling School

Score/Result: 12-8 W

Taft JV FB jumped out to a 12 - 0 first half lead then held on at the end for a 12-8 victory over a tough Trinity-Pawling squad.  Hunter Frantz threw first half touchdown passes to Liam Nelson and Justin Lebek.  Fernando Fernandez and John Gribbin anchored a defensive line that was able to turn T-P away repeatedly until very little time remained in the game.  John Jones, Nadir Pearson, Lebek, and Nelson provided solid defensive backfield play that frustrated the T-P passing attack throughout the aftenoon.  Sam Sweet, Sean Sullivan, Richard Gilland, and Frantz played well at the linebacker positions, and really stepped up after Zach Ambrosino left the game due to an injury.
