• On a wonderful day for golf, the Boys' Varsity took on the always-talented Brunswick Bears at historic Century Country Club in Purchase, NY. This match is one of our “measuring stick” events of the season, and our 1-point victory was well earned. As matches concluded, Julien Papadopoulo '14 and Owen McGowan '15 put us out front by 6 points; however, Brunswick's golfers started to post victories and the match began to tighten. As it turned out, the entire match came down to the #1 match. Co-captain Matt Schimenti '14 took on Brunswick senior captain Andre Masse, and the match went down to the 18^th hole. Matt's 15 foot down hill putt rolled true and into the middle of the hole, and this putt earned him a half point, which clinched the match.
