Today we opened our home schedule, and the golfers posted a terrific score of 385 strokes. Co-captain Matt Schimenti and Middler Owen McGowan shared medalist honors with scores of 75. Matt and Owen had to weather difficult stretches in the middle of their rounds, and both players did a solid job keeping their rounds going in a positive direction.

As we conclude the first week of the season, the players had a lot of positive energy, which will have to be channeled into our practice sessions next week.
