Boys' Junior Varsity Golf vs Loomis Chaffee School

Taft played host this afternoon to the Loomis Chaffee "pelicans" in a nine hole "medal match" round on what the "rhino" golfers refer to as the inside 9, which has two par 5's and two par 3's, thus offering plenty of opportunity to go low with individual and team scores.  After the rain passed, both teams quickly set out to see if they could take advantage of the soft greens and favorable playing conditions;  Taft's John Jones was able to take advanatge of the favorable playing condition to lead all jv golfers with a fine score of 40 to earn "meadlist" honors for the day.  Taft scores as follows:
