Girls' Varsity Hockey vs Greenwich Academy

GA got off to a solid start and was able to get on the scoreboard first.  They continued to put pressure on and outskated the Rhinos in the first period.  The first period ended with GA up 3-0.  Coming out in the second with a bit more intensity, Taft was able to get 12 shots off to GA’s 6, still unable to find the back of the net.  The third period was more like the second, but Katherine Roznik made a beautiful pass to Victoria Gordon who one-timed the puck by GA goalie.  Unfortunately, GA was able to respond with their last goal of the game, making the final score 4-1.  Coming out with determination and speed, GA set the tone of the game from the first period.  With five games left in the season, Taft will be sure to take advantage of every opportunity.
