Boys' Junior Varsity Lacrosse vs Westminster School

Score/Result: 11-7 W

Saturday, April 13, 2013

The JV rebounded from the pasting at the hands of the ‘Wick by beating Westminster 11-7.  Dan Quirk ’15 lead the scoring with four goals, James Anderson ’15, Parker Fiske ’14, And Sam Nestor ’16 each added two, and Sean Sullivan ‘16 added one on a “run the table” long stick break.  Christian Paton ‘15 once again controlled the face off square and repeatedly handed the Big Red its scoring opportunities.  Noah Talhami ’16 did the same from the defensive end, clearing the ball repeatedly.  The biggest factor in the game, however, was the team’s determination to prove to itself how good it can be.  Tied at seven at the end of three quarters, the Big Red outhustled Westie and came up with a 4-0 run in the fourth to close it out.
