Boys' Junior Varsity Lacrosse
vs Berkshire School
Score/Result: 8-3 W
Saturday, April 06, 2013—
The Big Red started off the 2013 campaign with an impressive 8-3 win over Berkshire. Sam Nestor led the scoring with three goals and Quirk, Foos, Anderson, Fiske, and Landry each added one. The boys played well in almost every aspect of the game. While the shots were even, the Big Red accounted for a wide margin in ground balls and positive turnovers. Especially impressive were the number of transition goals. Christian Paton was very effective as the face off man, and the defensive trio of Bowers, Gribbin, and Talhamiwere solid in shutting down the Bear offense. They did so playing penalty free. Pat Cassidy had a superb game in goal.
