The Boys’ 3rds squash team soundly defeated visiting Salisbury 6-1 this afternoon. Rob Galbraith, in spite of playing on a sore knee, scored the first victory by quickly dispatching his opponent in three games. Rob’s match set the tone for the afternoon, and Salisbury found itself on the losing side of things in five of the remaining six matches. The game of the afternoon featured an astounding comeback by Courtland Boyle. Down 4-10 in the second game of the match, Courtland began hitting the ball with a great deal of authority and won the next seven points en route to a 13-11 victory. Mike Mulroy played the match of the afternoon. After winning his first game handily, Mike lost the next two, both by the score of 9-11. Switching tactics, Mike took charge of the fourth game and won 11-5. Although his opponent was game, Mike made easy work of the fifth game, 11-5.
