Taft arrived in Windsor, CT with a determination to score 75 points and to head quickly back to Watertown, CT with a 3-0 victory!  The big red was extremely focused and best of all, each member on the team played like they REALLY had each others back.  The game started out fast and furious and Taft remained true to their goal.  Certain highlights include: the new dance step called the "Maddie Hustle".  In this particular play, the fast foot work of Maddie Haskins allowed us to win a very dramatic point.  We were happy to have Candice Dyce back on the court and she contributed with 4 kills and 3 blocks.  Speaking of blocking, Lesley Fridie and Maddie teamed up to have 12 Outstanding blocks.  Cassie Ruscz had 16 assists and Morgan Manz led the team with 13 kills.  Pen Naviroj served an ace to win the final game and Tiffany Li had a big triple (3 aces, 3 kills, 3 digs).  Sarah Cassady lead the team with 11 service points and RC O'Shea had 13 digs.  Jacky Susskind had 2 digs.  Riley Mainville, Chelsea Robinson, Lynndy Smith, Elena LoRusso, Mia Polokoff and today's assistant coach Katie Harpin contributed to the victory.  We missed Mr. Chung, but we were very happy to see the Peucker's in the stands with the many other parents and grandparents.   On Wednesday we travel to Hopkins for a 3:00 game.  As I said to the team 100 times, "I am really happy'!
