Junior Varsity Volleyball vs Ethel Walker School

The JV Volleyball team won the home opener against Ethel Walker on Wednesday, September 19th. With a mighty team effort from all players, Taft pulled ahead and never looked back. The scores were 25-11, 25-5, and 25-9.

Judith Hsieh was our powerhouse server with 16 straight serves to start the second set. Elif Korkmaz did a great job setting up our intimidating front line consisting of Caroline Leopold, Tess Kneisel, Amelia Wilhelm, Agnes Wong, Ava Mennin, and Tess Conciatori. The back row was covered by Francesca Ortega, Sophie Ricker, Victoria Gordon, Aleksa Lambert and Katie Pfefferle.

Coaches Petersen and Aguirre are excited to coach this team and are ready for a fantastic season!
