Taft Students are selected to be on stage at a Clinton rally in Dover, New Hampshire.

January 7, 2008--The AP Government classes had a most successful trip to NH on Monday, the eve of the "First in the Nation" primary for the 2008 presidential campaign. They got to see and meet both Hillary Clinton and John McCain, the eventual winners. Half of the group was selected to be on the stage and they appeared on CNN, CNBC, FOX and other major news outlets yesterday and in the photos from the New York Times.

After the Clinton Rally at the McConnell Center in Dover, the group of 29 students headed to the Town Hall steps in Exeter for a McCain Rally. Some got the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates, others got to shake hands or have photos signed. All came away from the day enthused at seeing democracy in action.
