SUPER SUNDAY '08
Think field day..gone wild.
A longstanding tradition at Taft, Super Sunday starts with a team "colors" dance on Saturday night and includes such events as the Crisco Slide, Egg Toss, Apple-Bobbing Wheelbarrow Race (with a saltine-eating element), Three-legged race (with a marshmallow-eating, song-singing element), Human pyramid and Tug of War.
"Nobody really won. Or everybody won," says faculty organizer Sam Routhier. "The food fight occurred at the end, and, as I found out yesterday, is one of the most valued traditions among Taft students! The biggest criticism of Super Sunday that I've received is that they want more food!"
