On Wednesday, Dec. 3, nearly 25,000 books were moved from the Woolworth Library (CPT, now the faculty room) to the school's new $1.3 million Hulbert Taft Jr. Library. The entire student body was involved in the move, which took just under five hours. The old library was closed at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, and boys were using the new facilities by 3 p.m. the next day.... Although the new library is not completely finished (the auditorium is not ready for use), all work should be completed by the end of January.... The student body was rewarded with soda and a movie, Castle Keep, for its efforts.
