Where are you from?
I’m Swiss, but have lived in Nassau, The Bahamas for most of my life.
What activities do you participate in at Taft?
Here at Taft I’ve played soccer, squash, and run track. I am also a dorm monitor and a co-head monitor. I’m the treasurer of the Red Rhino Fund and a member of Oriocos, our male a cappella group.
What are your favorite classes at Taft?
My favorite classes at Taft have been the two history classes that I have taken with Mr. Traina. Last year he was my teacher for American History and this year I am taking his History of Sports elective. I have truly enjoyed studying under Mr. Traina due to the collaborative environment he fosters and his vast plethora of knowledge.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the Jig patio on a warm spring day.
What has been your most memorable Taft moment?
My most memorable Taft moment was probably getting to dress up in the Rhino mascot costume for Red Rally this year. I’d wanted to do that for a while, and it definitely lived up to expectations.
Why Taft?
Over the past four years, Taft has truly become my home. I have formed lifelong friendships here and made memories I will never forget. Taft has grown to be my favorite place on earth—I wouldn’t trade my time here for anything.
