I am from Middlebury, CT.
What activities do you participate in at Taft?
I am a school monitor, I-Block teacher, president of the Global Medical Service Association, co-president of Coffee for Charity, a Global Leadership Institute Scholar, dormitory monitor, first-year mentor, and varsity soccer and golf player. I am also varsity basketball co-captain.
What has been your favorite class at Taft?
My favorite class has been Accelerated Biology with Mrs. Washburn because the class felt like a family. None of us had any fear of making mistakes. We were all just focused on learning, actively interested in the material.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the Athletic Training Room. I look forward to going there to stretch, talk to our trainers, and hang out with fellow athletes.
What is your most memorable Taft moment so far?
My most memorable Taft moment was Hotchkiss Day my mid year. After the football team defeated the Bearcats, the Taft community rushed the Hotchkiss field, celebrating the win.
What do you love most about Taft?
What I love most about Taft is the people. Every student on the Taft campus is welcoming, creating a true sense of community.
What does it mean to be a Rhino?
Being a Rhino means giving back to the community. Our school motto is Non ut sibi ministretur sed ut ministret: Not to be served but to serve. Rhinos strive to emulate this message.
