World Language Course Offerings
From the first day of classes at Mr. Taft's School in 1890 and for more than 125 years since, language study has been a core component of Taft's academic curriculum. Like their predecessors, today's Taft students may study Latin and Greek and the ancient cultures of their origin, while they may also elect to study a modern language: Chinese, French, or Spanish. With courses offered in five languages on campus ranging from introductory to the most advanced levels, opportunities for study abroad programs, and courses in additional languages through the Global Online Academy, Taft is preparing students to lead and achieve in an increasingly interconnected world.
