Jingci graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in education. Since her junior year in college, she has taught English and Chinese to students with different age and cultural backgrounds in both China and the U.S. Before joining Taft, she spent several years teaching Chinese to teenagers and young adults in multiple educational settings. During that time, she taught English as a new language at a private school on Long Island, New York, where she also served as a dorm advisor, providing academic and residential support for middle school and high school international students. She is passionate about teaching Chinese and the Chinese culture. She looks forward to sharing thoughts and ideas with people from different cultures. At Taft, Jingci teaches Chinese and lives in Vogelstein.
