A native of Brunswick, Maine, Max graduated from Bowdoin College with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology. With a passion for coaching and working with young people, he then spent four years at the Westtown School (West Chester, Pennsylvania), where he taught biology. Following his time at Westtown, Max moved on to the McLean School of Maryland, an independent school outside of Washington, D.C., and most recently, held the position of associate director of college counseling. In this role, Mr. Rosner has developed a strong foundation and holistic perspective on the college process and how best to help students transition into their lives after high school.

Outside of the academic setting, Max brings a remarkable lacrosse background as a player and coach—someone who has played at a very high level, has broad coaching experience, and brings an extensive network of partnerships and connections. Max has coached both club and secondary school teams. He was a head coach for NXT Lacrosse Club (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), assistant coach of the 2017 Under Armor Underclass Tournament team (Towson, Maryland), and assistant coach for the 2021s, 2027s and 2030s Next Level Lacrosse teams (Bethesda, Maryland). At the secondary school level, Max was varsity head coach at Westtown School and an assistant coach/defensive coordinator at the Potomac School (McLean, Virginia). In addition to his coaching experience, in 2018, he was captain of the World Championship Philippines National Team, competing in Netanya, Israel, where he led the team to finish 10th in the world. Currently, Max serves as a board member and the Director of Youth Development for the Philippines Lacrosse Association, supporting efforts to grow the game globally.

At Taft, he will serve as an associate director of college counseling and lives in Centennial with his wife, Chelsea, and their three children.
