Tessie Salatas, originally from Quebec, graduated from Kent School and then received her B.A. in mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross in 2018. There, she was a resident assistant, a part of Inter-House Council, and a member of the women’s rowing and ice hockey teams. Since graduating, Tessie has worked at boarding schools in Connecticut, Ontario, and Pennsylvania, holding roles such as mathematics instructor, girls’ varsity ice hockey and soccer assistant coach, girls’ crew head coach, dorm parent and head, as well as  advisor. Throughout the summers, she enjoys being a program director for Sparks Rowing Camps, both in the U.S. and abroad. At Taft, Tessie will teach math, serve as a coach, and live in HDT with her puppy, Winston.
