Amanda has worked in independent schools for over 20 years and currently serves as the Director of Enrollment Management at Taft, a role she began in 2024. Before joining Taft, she spent five years as the Director of Admission at Deerfield Academy. Prior to her time at Deerfield, Amanda served as the Director of Secondary School Advising at the Greenwich Country Day School and spent a decade at her alma mater, The Hotchkiss School, where she worked in the admission office, coached field hockey, hockey, and softball, served as an advisor, and lived in a dormitory with ninth and tenth grade girls.

Earlier in her career, Amanda spent three years working in San Francisco and a year guiding fly fishing trips in Jackson, Wyoming. She earned her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College in Vermont and holds a master’s in education from the University of Southern California.
