Megan Valenti
Megan Valenti returns to Taft after working at the Westover School, where she taught history and served as both junior and senior class dean. In this role, Megan was responsible for identifying and implementing student support interventions, fostering an environment where students could thrive both academically and personally. Prior to her time at Westover, Megan spent 11 years at Taft, where she contributed to the school community as a history teacher, undefeated softball coach, curriculum designer for Model UN, chair of the summer reading committee and community service day, dorm parent, and a founder of recreational sports. In her current role, Megan teaches History and Global Studies, bringing her extensive experience and passion for education back to the Taft community. A native of southern California, Megan enjoys spending her summers by the beach with her sons Jack, Gus, and Timmy, and her winters in hockey rinks with her husband, Michael. They live in Middlebury.
