Sergio Guerrera
Sergio earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University. During his senior year, he was elected president of the Athletic Training Club. A student intern at Taft during 2001, Sergio was appointed a faculty member the following year; he is currently head athletic trainer.
Sergio has been a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Connecticut since 2006. He is certified in the Graston M1 technique and completed formal training on the Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing (ImPACT), system, the most widely used and scientifically validated computerized concussion management tool available. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and Connecticut Athletic Trainers’ Association. Sergio currently lives in Watertown with his wife, Jill, daughter, Ava, and son, Gianluca.
