Emily is a graduate of Phillips Andover and received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Princeton University. At Princeton, Emily was a residential advisor and learning consultant at the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning. She spent multiple summers working at The Circle Program, a year-round mentoring organization. Her undergraduate thesis used small-angle X-ray scattering to investigate the structure of the biosynthetic proteins of an antibiotic. Emily was also involved in research on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at Harvard Medical School's Seidman Laboratory. At Taft, Emily is the Mailliard Fellow. She teaches two sections of Chemistry, lives in Congdon, coaches girls’ cross country and crew, and assists with community service.
