A graduate of St. George’s School in Middletown, RI, Mark attended Wesleyan University, where he earned his bachelor’s in history and was a four-year varsity letter winner in hockey and baseball. After Wesleyan, he began his teaching career as the Carpenter Teaching Fellow in History at Taft. From there, Mark earned an M.A. at Wesleyan and served as a teacher, dean, coach and dormitory head at Kent, Holderness, Taft and most recently, as dean of students at St. George’s School. Currently, Mark works in admissions, teaches history, coaches hockey and baseball, and lives on North Street with his wife, Edie, and their two children, Caroline and Lucy.
