Meghan graduated from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a bachelor's in liberal arts, and went on to earn her MFA in interdisciplinary visual art at Western Connecticut State University. Previous teaching experience includes inspiring students as an art teacher at Notre Dame High School in Fairfield, Connecticut, Saint Paul Catholic High School in Bristol, Connecticut, and a variety of art workshops over the years. Meghan has a passion for nature and that is the subject of much of her artistic exploration. She has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to reside in many beautiful settings like Nantucket where she was an artist in residence, the North Shore of Massachusetts, and rural Minnesota. In addition to teaching and making art, Meghan loves growing flowers and vegetables, hiking, and cooking vegetarian meals. Currently, she is learning more about papermaking and hopes to introduce this to her students at Taft. Meghan lives close to campus in Woodbury with her husband and two Australian Cattle Dogs.
