It was another great day on the fields for the Rhinos as both field hockey and boys’ soccer were victorious in their NEPSAC Class A semifinal matchups, and the stage is set for a finals rematch for both squads.
For the second consecutive fall season, Taft’s field hockey and boys’ soccer teams are both headed to the finals of the NEPSAC Championships. Boys’ soccer defeated Choate 1-0, while field hockey was victorious over Hotchkiss in an overtime thriller, just one week after losing to them on Hotchkiss Day.
We hope you’ll cheer them on — either virtually or in person! Both games will take place tomorrow, Sunday, November 17. Field hockey will take on Andover at Ethel Walker at 11:00 AM, and boys’ soccer will face Milton at Choate at 1:45 PM. Both games will be livestreamed on the NEPSAC website, or can be found by going to the Taft Athletics livestream page. Field hockey has hopes of repeating as back-to-back NEPSAC Class A champions, while boys’ soccer looks to avenge their finals loss to Milton from last season.
