Ms. Emily Li
Emily recently graduated summa cum laude from Emory University, where she received her B.S. in creative writing, English, and environmental science. In her senior year at Emory, Emily instructed a digital media laboratory course for 25 undergraduate students in Emory’s Department of Film and Media Studies. She has been a tutor in Emory’s writing center and was a creative writing teaching assistant at the Atlanta History Center. An avid writer and poet, Emily has received national recognition for her novel excerpts from the YoungArts Foundation. Emily also spent a summer as a science writing and communications intern at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. Prior to Emory, Emily attended Choate Rosemary Hall, where she graduated cum laude. At Taft, Emily is a Penn Teaching Fellow in English, coaches volleyball and intramural sports, and lives in Cruikshank House.
