Mr. Justin Torre
A native of south Florida, Justin attended Berkshire School where he played varsity football, ice hockey, and track; was the recipient of the 2007 Weil Family Prize for Public Speaking; and was the co-founder of the Berkshire School Philanthropy Society. Justin matriculated to Hamilton College where he earned his B.A. in History and played on the varsity ice hockey and football teams. Following his time at Hamilton, Justin spent two years tutoring English and playing ice hockey professionally for CHH Txuri Urdin in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain. He then returned to the US and spent five years living in New York City, including a two-year stint in the marketing department at Knoll, Inc., and a season as a coach for the Columbia Prep boys’ varsity ice hockey team. At Taft, Justin teaches Spanish I and II and coaches varsity football, boys’ varsity hockey, and track. He serves as an adjunct dorm parent in HDT2, and lives in Watertown with his partner Liga, their two dogs Buck and Ripa, and their cat Mika.
