Mr. Kyle Conrau-Lewis
Kyle graduated with a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Melbourne in Latin and Greek literature and then went on to complete his PhD at Yale University where he was also a postdoctoral fellow in 2020. In that time, he also earned a diploma in manuscript studies from the Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies in Toronto.
Kyle is an English and Latin teacher and is currently head of the English department. He coaches G3 hockey and track and is a dorm parent in ISP. He has also taught an independent tutorial on Sanskrit, a course on linguistics, and an independent project on ancient ideas of gender and psychology. Outside of Taft, he has worked as an AP grader. Most importantly, he always loves to hear what students are reading and thinking!
