A graduate of Amherst College and The Ethel Walker School, Esi is joining Taft as a member of the science department. Esi earned a B.A. in Biochemistry & Biophysics from Amherst College in 2022. At Amherst, Esi served as the head editor on the college’s yearbook committee, conducted protein-folding research, and engaged in community service initiatives such as The Literacy Project and CovEducation. After graduating, she joined the pulmonary genetics department at Boston Children’s Hospital as a research assistant where she studied the pharmacogenetics of asthma biologics. At Taft, Esi will teach accelerated and honors biology, and will live in Mac House.
