Biography:

After graduating from Wesleyan with a double major in English and Russian language and literature, Caitlin began her teaching career at Millbrook School, where in addition to teaching English full-time, she taught human development, served as the head coach of girls’ varsity cross country, coached squash, and worked as a dormitory parent and as director of student activities. While at Millbrook, she also began master’s work at the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English, which she completed over the course of five summers. During summer 2006, she worked as a teacher of leadership and ESL at the Asheville School’s Academic Adventures Program. That fall, she began a five-year tenure at Savannah Country Day school as a teacher of English and for one year, introductory linguistics. She was also the faculty advisor to the Honor Council, chair of the SACS accreditation committee on ethics education, and assistant coach of girls’ and boys’ varsity cross country, varsity track, and girls’ varsity soccer. At Taft, Caitlin teaches English and coaches intramural tennis and girls’ thirds squash. Caitlin lives on campus with her husband, Ken, and their daughter.
