Mr. Corey Chandler
Corey comes to Taft having taught French at Canterbury School for 18 years, where he served as the languages department chair. He has taught French I through III, French AP Language, French IV Honors, and French AP Literature. Corey has been an AP reader for ETS for the past six years, as well as a French teacher and Assistant Language Director at the Middlebury Monterey Language Academy. Outside of the classroom, Corey has vast experience as a dormitory parent, and he has coached soccer, squash, and lacrosse. Corey received his Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Connecticut and his Master of Arts in French from Middlebury College Language School. He teaches French at Taft and is the assistant coach of girls’ varsity squash and the head coach of girls’ junior varsity soccer. He and his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters live on campus.
