Mr. Corey Chandler
Corey started working at Taft in 2015 after having taught French at Canterbury School for 18 years, where he served as the languages department chair. He has taught All levels of French from Level I through French AP Language and French AP Literature. Corey was an AP reader for ETS for a number of years, Dean of Programs with Oxbrigde in Paris, as well as a French teacher and Assistant Language Director at the Middlebury Monterey Language Academy. Outside of the classroom, Corey has vast experience as a dormitory parent, and he has coached soccer, squash, and lacrosse. Corey received his Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Connecticut and his Master of Arts in French from Middlebury College Language School. He teaches French at Taft, is the assistant coach of girls’ varsity squash and head coach of boys’ junior varsity soccer. He and his wife, Jennifer, live on campus.
